Leduc Knights of Columbus Hockey School in Leduc
Sharing a tradition of great success, the Leduc Knights of Columbus and the University of Alberta Golden Bears are committed to a hockey school of excellence.
Participants will receive quality instruction both on and off the ice based on combined organizing and teaching experience of over 30 years. This program, provided in Leduc since 1988, is a unique and improved hockey school consisting of three major sessions: power skating, on-ice workouts and off-ice training. Each session is appropriately designed for the age group and skill level. Participants will learn about skating techniques such as edge control, balance, quickness, speed, agility and power. They will then apply their skating techniques to other skills of the game such as puck control, passing and shooting. On-ice sessions enable practicing what is learned in the other sessions and applying skills to game situations. Off-ice sessions focus on individual strength, flexibility, endurance and concepts of the game. Hockey is a team sport and therefore, along with strong individual skill development, we will apply exercises to promote team building, as well.
The biggest praise we receive from previous participants is exceptional value at an affordable price. Our main goal is to give your children a positive learning experience, in a fun-filled environment, and the foundation to enjoy Canada's game for a lifetime.
